This series comprises eleven files containing the following: minutes from the Southern Alberta Youth Council meetings regarding loss of property; telegraphs, bulletins, and letters concerning the submission of claim forms and fundraising for the Bird Commission; the National JCCA's annual reports; documents expressing tensions between Isseis and the Niseis; letters and claim forms for an economic loss survey; correspondence between the Southern Alberta Youth Council and Kasey Tanaka, Editor of The New Canadian; correspondence between the Japanese Canadian Committee for Democracy and the Co-operative Committee on Japanese Canadians; materials from the Co-operative Committee on Japanese Canadians, including pamphlet and bulletins; a number of materials from the Citizenship Defense Committee; and correspondence from the Canadian Civil Liberties Union.

The digital copies of the records were acquired by the Landscapes of Injustice Research Collective between 2014 and 2018.
