                  <ref target="http://nikkeimuseum.org/www/collections_detail.php?col_id=F231">Junzo Yamake</ref>
               </name> came to Canada from Ubikiyama, Shiga Ken at the age of twenty five. He apprenticed as a baker under Mr. Hayashi until he could open his own shop in 1927. He married Hatsuye Nishimura in 1928 and began a family.</p>
