From this series, LOI has digitized a textual record.

The series consists of personal items belonging to Kimiko Nasu (nee Saito). Many of the items are childhood or sewing related and a few items were from Principal Tsutae Sato and Mrs Hanako Sato. Other items of note include Kimiko's unemployment card, registration card, autograph album, postcards marked examined by censor, scrapbooks, elementary school books, Kanada no Sakae (Prosperity in Canada) book, and directories.

Kohei Saito was born around 1880 in Shizuoka prefecture. He came to Canada sometime before his marriage to Natsu Mochizuki in 1914 or 1915. They both arrived on the ship Canada Maru on October 16, 1915 which sailed from Yokohama to Victoria, BC. At that time Kohei was a returning Canadian, and had been in Japan for eight months at the address 130 Yodobashi machi, Toyo tama gun, Tokyo fu.

The digital copies of the records were acquired by the Landscapes of Injustice Research Collective between 2014 and 2018.
