            <salute>Dear Sir:</salute>

         <div>
            <p>Received your letter written on <date when="1946-07-16">July 16</date>, stating
                  that you are unable to alternate my property to an <choice><sic>deacent</sic><corr>decent</corr></choice> price, but I did not
                  tell you to sell my property, and you did not ask me if I wanted to sell my
                  property, nor you did not let me know that you were going to sell my property.
                  When the custodian came to my coast home to see or to check our place, they told
                  me that you were just taking care until I come back when the war is over.
                     <emph>That means that you have told me a very big lie.</emph> How would you
                  like if somebody sold your property that cheap after buying an 9½ acres all
                  uncleared for <num type="originalValue">$1500.00</num> and selling it for only <num type="salePrice">$560.00</num> all of the 9½ acres cleared clean and building many <choice><sic>deferent</sic><corr>different</corr></choice>
                  dwellings and bought many farming tools. We left all our farming tools and even
                  Kitchen tools. We have been paying about <num>$71.00</num> tax every year. In any
                  case, I am thoroughly dissatisfied with whole <choice><sic>proceder</sic><corr>procedure</corr></choice>, and the price at which my
                  property was sold for, and would appreciate any further information which you may
